"The mind is like a wild horse. We try to focus it, but it doesn't stay in one place. Instead, it bucks and runs wildly from one thing to another. We follow it helplessly wherever it goes, unable to accomplish many of our goals at work, in family life, or on a spiritual path. We are unable to rest in happiness..." (Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, TURNING THE MIND INTO AN ALLY)

In Tibetan, this basic method of training the mind in mindfulness is called shine, dwelling in peace. For thousands of years, it has been practiced effectively by great masters and monks in seclusion, as well as by householders in daily life…

Practicing in this way is an extraordinarily friendly approach. Just 10 minutes a day can give us an enormously positive effect: our mind gathers and finds more and more peace and focus.

We can finally ride our wild horse wherever we want. Our mind becomes our ally.

A combination of the two methods (TE® and meditation) is wonderful, but absolutely no necessity. Both stand alone in their own perfection.

For this simple and profound approach of shine meditation practice, no previous knowledge or specific seating or other requirements are needed. Interest and a simple chair are enough.

However, meditation is not a panacea and people with pre-existing mental challenges (e.g. panic attacks) should possibly discuss with their doctor or therapist whether meditation is a suitable method for them. In short episodes, however, and practiced under the guidance of an experienced meditation instructor - and regularly involved in a personal accompaniment and exchange - possible negative effects of meditative practice are very rare. Therefore, I recommend, especially at the beginning, not to follow just one of the many (albeit good) meditation apps.

In addition to an introduction to meditation, I am happy to offer you personal accompaniment for your daily practice. The scope can be freely designed together and can be done both online and on site.

On request, I also offer group seminars and weekend retreats - e.g. for unique family gatherings or staff retreats for smaller companies.

If you have any questions or are interested in my current offer, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to your message.
